MEET INFORMATION

  • About: This is a USA Powerlifting sanctioned meet being organized and produced by American Barbell Productions. This is a two day event with one platform and a 120 lifter cap. This is a three lift meet only.

  • This is a Raw and Equipped meet.

  • Eligibility: This meet is open to all current USA Powerlifting members that meet the requirements for the collegiate division as stated in the USA Powerlifting rulebook. Must be a full-time student in good standing and under the age of 26.

  • Proof a being a full-time student in good standing will be required before December 1.

  • IMPORTANT*** If you do not have a current USA Powerlifting membership do not buy one till after November 1st. This date starts the 2024 membership calendar year. You do not need a current membership to register for this meet.

  • There is no qualifying total needed for this meet.

  • This meet is open to college and Universities from: NJ, PA, NY, MD, DE, DC, VA, WV

  • Lifters do not need to be a member of a collegiate powerlifting team to enter.

  • If collegiate powerlifting clubs want to enter teams to compete for awards they must be registered clubs with USA Powerlifting.

  • After lifters complete their meet entry form, club presidents will be able to enter team rosters.

  • Technical Rules: All USA Powerlifting rules will be followed and enforced. The rulebook can be found at http://www.usapowerlifting.com

  • registration is $140

  • Coaching passes $25 and registration will open in October

  • Specator tickets $20 and will be available online the week of the event

  • This is a drug tested meet.

Awards Individual

  • Collegiate - 1st -3rd every weight class

Teams

  • Teams competing must be a registered USA Powerlifting club/team.

  • Teams can register their clubs here with USA Powerlifting.

  • Team registration for the meet will have a separate online registration. Lifters must register individually first at the link at the top of the page.

  • There will be three types of team divisions - Men, Women and Combined men and women

  • You can't mix raw and equipped lifters

  • Minimum of three lifters on a team

  • Combined men/women teams are allowed 10 lifters spread throughout the weight classes with no more than two in a particular weight class. Example: 2 male 90 kg lifters 

  • Teams are allowed 8 lifters spread out through the weight classes with no more than two in a particular weight class.

  • Each team is allowed 2 reserve lifters that can be substituted any time before the start of the first session weigh-ins on Saturday.

  • Lifter point scoring will be by DOTS

  • Top 5 lifters on each team contribute DOT points toward team scoring points.

  • Team awards 1st - 3rd.

  • In the event of a tie, the team with the most 1st places wins. If it still results in a tie it goes to the most 2nd places and so on.

Saturday – December 21

 Session I

7:00 to 8:30 am – Weigh-in/Equipment check for women up to 75kg

8:30 to 9:00 am – Rules briefing and/lifter warm-up

9:00 to 1:30 pm – Competition Lifting

1:30 to 2:00 pm – Awards presentation / Drug-testing protocol

Session II

12:00 to 1:30 pm – Weigh-in/Equipment check for women 82.5kg and up

1:30 to 2:00 pm – Rules briefing and/lifter warm-up

2:00 to 6:00 pm – Competition Lifting

6:00 to 6:30 pm – Awards presentation / Drug-testing protocol

Sunday - December 22

Session I

7:00 to 8:30 am – Weigh-in/Equipment check for men up to 82.5kg

8:30 to 9:00 am – Rules briefing and/lifter warm-up

9:00 to 1:30 pm – Competition Lifting

1:30 to 2:00 pm – Awards presentation / Drug-testing protocol
